The school was founded on 9th September 1999 by the late Judith Achilongana Matinga with the aim of improving quality education to the surrounding community.

Golden Gate Memorial School prides itself in its Primary School Leaving Certificate Exams (PSLC) results. Our learners get selected to reputable Secondary Schools in the Country from Kamuzu Academy, Likuni Boys and Girls, Lilongwe Girls, Mary Mount, St. Johns, Stella Maris,Providence, Marist just to name a few. Our pass rate has 99.9% with 95% selection rate for four years running.
